i think Sahil Kapur: Obama now seems to realise bipartisanship on healthcare is plainly infeasible. It's progress, but what took him so long!

We're working on implementing Phreesia in our pediatric office, which sees 600+ patients each week, and we're very optimistic about it. Our Phreesia contacts have been very willing to work with us and are very friendly. Phreesia is HIPAA-compliant: if left idle for 3 minutes, the information is wiped clean. After the patient is done with the interview, the pad wipes itself clean.

agree to comments above, but if one of these walks out the door, how much patient data would be stored on it? granted the webpad may not be reuseable, but the data on it would be fairly valuable. I would think we'd need to download or erase after every patient?

Seems to be a very interesting concept and would like to see this used in my own physician's offices.

I read an article on the Medical Economics Nwritten by Gail Garfinkel Weiss about the "phreesiapads" and I am very much interested in having it in my office.
My office telephone number is: 954-927-0108 and my cell phone is 954-249-2489

completely agree! I really like the model too. If they can manage the fine balance between benefit to patient and doctor vs privacy risks, they have a big winner...definitely one to watch.
