We’re working on implementing Phreesia in our pediatric office, which sees 600+ patients each week, and we’re very optimistic about it. Our Phreesia contacts have been very willing to work with us and are very friendly. Phreesia is HIPAA-compliant: if left idle for 3 minutes, the information is wiped clean. After the patient is done with the interview, the pad wipes itself clean.

agree to comments above, but if one of these walks out the door, how much patient data would be stored on it? granted the webpad may not be reuseable, but the data on it would be fairly valuable. I would think we’d need to download or erase after every patient?

completely agree! I really like the model too. If they can manage the fine balance between benefit to patient and doctor vs privacy risks, they have a big winner…definitely one to watch.
