Maybe?

Very nice technical explanation relative to the software APIs and connectivity. I cover quite a bit about both and have the TrialX widget on my blog as a resource as well as links to get started with Google Health and HealthVault. My blog has more of a mixed crowd from all walks of life, so I keep the section updated with new information from both. The recent Twitter application from TrialX is pretty neat as well for a simple search to get folks interested.

The ultimate goal of course is to get consumers to buy in and sign up as the searching process is defined exactly down to what trial they qualify for without a lot of research involved and once that information is obtained, the next step makes it easy to contact an investigator to get started with all the information set up with a familiar format the investigator can go to work with.

With the US losing ground with trials, this is a good tool to help bring back interest and provide the consumer a simple method to get information and enroll.

hi Chintan - Like the technical distinction. I wouldn't term the MHV api layer as standard based - SOAP. Also its worth noting that MHV has a much finer grained privacy control and extensive support of standards other than and including ASTM CCR.

The good news for the economy is that billions are being directed at health information technology as well as building the infrastructure for the electronic exchange of health records. As many as 86,820 jobs are expected to be created or retained for one year through the economic stimulus package investment. That's good news for the technology workers.
