  1. This is interesting. I’ve developed a dynamically extensible database for a large-scale construction estimating system (which has to be able to granularly and summarily describe anything humans can build) that does this on a large scale (infinite classes, attributes, page configurations, assignments, relations, etc.) It’s rewarding to see someone write about this. The application developers I work with don’t understand the data model or it’s basis, so they think I’m crazy.

    I can see how this would be hugely beneficial in health care.
